Every 90 days we have to cross the Costa Rican border to renew our Tourist Card...costing about $25 per person, total, for Nica & Costa Rica fees. Normally, it takes 30-45 minutes to get to the border on our moto. We can usually leave San Juan by 6am & will be back home before 10am. Occasionally, they will require you to present a bus ticket or airline itinerary to prove that you'll be leaving the country within the next 90 days
