Well, I squished my first scorpion today...in the bathroom. It was only the size of a large tree ant, though. Yesterday was kinda rough for me.. starting to sink in now that this is our new home
We met a married couple from San Antonio, who moved here 5 months ago & are serving in Spanish. I was SO happy to hear English! They are really fun & energetic...they're helping us find a place:-) - JESSICA
Ewww, yes I would say shoes are a must and especially since I have a thing with my feet being dirty. :/

Im sure they and speaking english was like an oasis for you.
In time you will probably not even notice and will be speaking great Spanish.
